There are very distinctly different views on wealth and being an obedient follower of the Scriptures.
Some will say we as believers should be humble and poor. They will quickly point to Yahshua Messiah and the life He lived.
Others will say we can be wealthy as believers and point out what Deuteronomy 8:18 says.
During these discussions one of the most misquoted verses is thrown around, 1st Timothy 6:10. People will say, “Money is the root of all kinds of evil.” Is that really what that verse says? NO!
So the question remains, “Is being a wealthy a sin?”
Who is right?
